But believe us, the seventh film – Furious 7 – took the entire concept of car sequences up by a notch. Moreover, almost every car chase scene was originally shot.
Some of the most high-priced cars used in the movie include Bugatti Veyron, Maserati Ghibli (2014) and Lykan Hypersport alongside other ultra-chic ones.
Gone in 60 seconds
Gone in 60 seconds (not the original one released in the year 1974), came in theatres in the year 2000 and was directed by Dominic Sena. The actors who were a part of the film are Giovanni Ribisi, Nicolas Cage, Delroy Lindo and Angelina – mind you, these actors have done a splendid job throughout the movie!
Well, the plot of this movie is about a former car thief who’s compelled to loot 50 exorbitant cars in order to save the life of his brother. This movie has, by far, some of the best and coolest cars, which not only car enthusiasts, but also those who aren’t into it would love. Not mention, Shelby Mustang GT500 (1967) is one of the main attractions of the movie.
Need for Speed
This movie was released in the year 2014 and guess what… the name was the first thing that caught everyone’s attention. Now you might ask us why – well, all your childhood if you’ve been a hardxore gamer, then the game named ‘Need for Speed’ for surely ring a bell!
The lead actor, Tobey Marshall, is a struggling street-racer and car builder who’s being framed by his ex-partner for a crime he wasn’t a part of. But after he come out of the prison, he gets hold on one of the fastest car he had ever built and sold. At the end of it all, it boils down to revenge. However, the car chase sequence in the movie is sure to leave you open-mouthed!
Baby Driver
Baby driver is by far the best action-packed car movie released in the year 2017. The lead role enacted by Ansel Elgort, who’s also known as Baby, this film had received a rating of 93% from Rotten Tomatoes. Not only does the movie has got some kickass car stunts, but also has some amazing old music.
In this movie, Baby serves as a driver to a crime boss whilst planning for several break-ins and thinks that he’ll be free once the plan is over. Nonetheless, the boss yet again come up with a new job for him.
Le Mans
Directed by Lee H. Katzin, Le Mans was released in 1971. The actors who were a part of the film involve Siegfried Rauch, Ronald Leigh-Hunt, Steve McQueen and Elga Andersen. The film was made on the basis of an actual 24 hours car race, which is conducted in Le Mans, France every year.
Though the film shows a fictional Le Mans race, the real Le Mans circuit was put to use and the race was actually shot using original cars, which mainly include Porsche 917 and Ferrari 512.
